What infrastructure requirements are needed in order to run One View Reports?

Question:
What infrastructure requirements are needed in order to run One View Reports?
Answer:
Minimum requirements recommend a server running Windows or Linux with 2 cores and 4 GB of RAM. GSI highly recommends 4 cores and 9 GB of RAM for maximum efficiency if your repository database resides on the same machine.
A purchase of One View provides all the software needed to successfully generate reports inside of EnterpriseOne including an Oracle database to store the repository, WebLogic Server and BI Publisher Standard. Options provided consist of using an existing database and/or choosing an existing BI Publisher installation.
Next, configure EnterpriseOne to use the new installation. GSI recommends an installation for the lower level environments and a server for the production environment. Scalability becomes a concern for larger implementations, but that is a topic for a future Q&A article.
