As corporate IT continues the trend towards cloud computing there is an interesting new requirement that has risen to the surface.
The Software as a Service product, from the Cloud Providers, carries with it an obligation to upgrade to the latest version of the software on a periodic, scheduled basis. Each time the software is upgraded, testing is required to ensure that the functionality remains constant and correct.
The GENISYS team is now looking at ways that GSI and GENISYS can assist with the required testing by automating the process. Baseline functionality scripts can be recorded and utilized when software changes are made. The required testing can happen more quickly with fewer corporate resources being impacted. Results will be immediately available to IT if modifications are required to accommodate the newest software release.
NetSuite is the new target for GENISYS regression testing as we begin implementing new clients on the NetSuite products. This will be an excellent extension of our existing load/regression testing services.
