Here are the basics and what the opportunities are when your administrators authorize the One View Watchlist feature to a group of employees, as well as when using a mobile device. Once enabled, your employees can be alerted to either a Personal or Shared Watchlist.

Both the Personal and Shared Watchlists can display any outstanding tasks such as; expenses needing approval, batch processes in error, customers over credit limits and PO receipts that are past due.
The “Watchlists” can be added to your existing E1 Pages by providing the Watchlist ID to your Administrator.

“Watchlists” added to your Mobile Devices
Another opportunity is to display the “My Watchlist” on Mobile devices, using a phone or tablet. The Enterprise One Watchlists Mobile application (M95H01) provides access to JD Edwards One View Watchlists.
Each Watchlists that you create are classified as personal Watchlists and appear under Personal on the “My Watchlists” menu and will be available only to that employee. The Shared Watchlists are available system wide to all employees unless they are restricted by your Administrators Security Settings.
On the mobile device, the “My Watchlists” appear as tiles that are labeled with their query names and displays the number that represent the count of records that meet the query criteria.
The Mobile Application can group the user display when defined into three filter tabs.
For example, “The My Watchlists” displays; an All tab, a (Blue) Warning tab and the (Red) Critical tab.

Each of your employees can easily identify All, Warning and Critical Watchlists tabs from their mobile device, whether a phone or tablet, when data has exceeded acceptable thresholds. Benefits are:

  • Shared Watchlists are available system wide unless they are restricted by security settings.
  • Shared Watchlists to which you have access appear under “Shared Watchlists” heading.
  • If a specific Watchlist has surpassed the warning threshold, it appears in bold text within the Watchlists menu.
  • If a Watchlist has surpassed its critical threshold, it appears in red text.

Selecting a specific Watchlist takes you into the application where you can see the items included in the query

Additionally, each employee can personalize their mobile device by selecting the Cog Wheel icon in the upper right-hand corner to configure which Watchlists they want to appear when the mobile application is launched and can turn the Watchlists on or off.
The Refresh All icon next to the “My Watchlist” can refresh each or all Watchlists shown.

Application Security
As with all Mobile devices, security is a major concern. Your Administrator can use the standard application security from the JDE Security Workbench. Security can be defined by user, role, or for all users (*Public).
Employees can be allowed to delete their own Personal Watchlist but will require permission from your administrator to delete a Shared Watchlist from the display.
All JD Edwards transactions that are available in the normal browser interface, are now also available for mobile devices with a special mobile client.
