Is it time to upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2? With JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2 Update 3 (9.2.3), JD Edwards EnterpriseOne now supports 64-bit processing for the Enterprise server and Development client, which now empowers customers to move completely to JD Edwards 64-bit processing.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 64-bit processing is now supported on the following components:

  • Enterprise server (new)
  • Development client (new)
  • HTML server
  • AIS server
  • BSSV server
  • RTE server
  • Orchestrator

Additionally, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has supported 64-bit databases, hardware, operating systems, Java and middleware for years.

Let’s discuss some of the benefits.

  • Performance – improved interactive application response times and batch processing runtimes in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • Third-party components – many third-party components required for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne are now moving to 64-bit only components (database drivers, Java, etc.)
