You'll see also see entire IT departments targeted, as hackers know that people in holiday mode aren't vigilant. Therefore, it's the easiest time of the year for them to email a lump of coal to your inbox, so to speak.

Don't click on any links that look like free presents; don't click on anything that looks like you got packages delivered. You need to look very carefully at everything.
